Did you know that doTERRA has three amazing skin care lines?

I get a lot of questions about the differences in each line, so today I am going to talk about that. doTERRA has three skin care lines HD Clear Line, Verage Line, and the Essential Skin Care Line.

Each line caters to a different skin type or to different skin needs, I will walk you through all the differences, but I will tell you that most people find that combining different products from different lines is what works best for them; don’t feel like you have to choose just one line.

At the end I will tell you which products work best for my skin and my personal routine.


Now, I've tried Clinique, Eminence, and other pricey and so called natural based skincare systems and non have given me the value or the results of the doTERRA skincare products.


It may go without saying but healthy skin requires a foundation in a healthy diet including proper water consumption, adequate sleep, exercise, and stress management.


I would be remiss if I also didn't mention the skin improvements I've noticed since taking the doTERRA Life Long Vitality supplements along with PB Assist, Terrazyme, and Yarrow POM complex.


Let's start with the three lines of skincare:


1. HD Clear Line


The HD Clear Line targets acne prone skin with a simple three step process: a foaming cleanser, essential oil roller, and hydrating moisturizer. This line will help to reduce the appearance of blemishes while also keeping skin soft and protected.


I have used the roller as part of my menopausal skincare routine, also and it works great!



This is a great line for the teenager in your life and keeps skin clear without harsh chemicals, antibiotics which affect your gut health, or complicated and painful regimens.


2. Verage Skincare Line


This collection contains only the best natural ingredients. It brings together essential oils, emollients, and plant extracts to nourish, hydrate, and promote youthful-looking skin.

This is the product line I started with on my doTERRA skincare journey. I have VERY sensitive skin and these products did WONDERS for the dryness and even early fine lines. This is a great place to start if you're just beginning to take care of your skin and even contains a serum which is so luxurious you're going to feel like you've been to the spa after every use. It's lovely for teenagers just starting a skincare routine so they're not exposed to hormone disrupting fake fragrance or other nasty chemicals.


I personally add a drop of yarrow POM + blue tansy to my serum now to support healthy, aging skin.

Verage Cleanser

doTERRA Spa Detoxifying Mud Mask



I have to include the doTERRA Spa Detoxifying Mud Mask. I use it weekly on my face but if you have frequent breakouts, you may like to use it more often. If I could only choose one product from doTERRA to use on my skin it would be the Yarrom|Pom oil. It is my anti-aging secret sauce. I use it as serum after cleansing & toning, and before moisturizing. If you really want to amp up the results of the Yarrow|Pom oil then try using a DermaRoller like I shared in my skin care review video before applying the Yarrow|POM.


The Immortelle Anti-Aging roller blend is also very popular with doTERRA clients. Simple to use and very effective with these precious oils, my daughter always comments that the aroma makes her think of me.


Reveal Facial System



This system has a two step process: a refining polish and a peptide activator.

This system contains:

  • Wild Orange and Lime essential oils provide a cleansing and purifying boost to the skin.

  • Pumpkin Enzyme assists in the exfoliation process without stressing or irritating the skin, and assists in removing dead skin cell buildup.

  • Natural Bamboo silk beads provide gentle, effective exfoliation revealing fresher, younger-looking skin

My Skin Care Routine


Once a week I use the Detoxifying Mud Mask. It's a lovely little Sunday self-care ritual to grab a tea, put on your mask, and relax or read before you head to bed. You'll start your week off on the right foot!


Once a week, usually mid-week, I use the Reveal System in the shower. You are going to have GLOWING skin after this treatment!

  • Daily I wash my face in the morning with the Essentials Facial Cleanser and at night the Verage Cleanser to really get my face squeeky clean and all the make-up off.

  • Next is the Essentials Pore Reducing toner. I've always had larger pores and I love the results from this product - heavenly skin tone!

  • Next I follow up with the Immortelle roller at the side of my eyes and over my thyroid

  • Now it's time for the Eye cream roller and this feels SOOOO good. Pop it in the fridge if you also want the benefits of cooling this area. Start at the outside of the eye and roll around the eye. You don't need much cream.

  • Then it's time for the Verage Serum that I boost with a couple drops of yarrow POM oil and blue tansy. It goes on blue but is quickly lapped-up by your skin

  • Now it's time for a little pump of Tightening Serum and Brightening Gel and don't forget your decolette (beneath and neck and above the breasts). This area can definitely suffer as we age so give it some love.

  • I finish with the Anti-Aging Moisturizer during the day and Hydrating Cream at night.

For my last tip, if you are wanting to rejuvenate your skin, know that it comes from the inside out. Make sure you're eating well and getting your water in.
