Homemade dish soap

One thing I've been experimenting with over this period of Covid and with more time at home have been my DIY recipes for things in my home that I feel we could make easily and effectively. One of the last items to receive this examination and make-over is my dish detergent. I worried that I wouldn't be able to make one that was effective at giving the dishes a really good clean and not leave grease.
Well, hold onto your caps because I've just perfected my FAVORITE homemade dish soap.
I like to use really simple ingredients that are easy to find so it can be replicated. Those that know me know that I rarely measure things and usually just eyeball my measurements but I've got the ratios here for you ...
MATERIALS
This is the recipe for a 330mL glass pump bottle and you could adjust to suit your needs. I simply printed a pretty label to keep it clean and may add different essential oils to suit my mood but always have a citrus oil in the mix to cut through grease. Some of my favorites have been Purify, lemongrass, lemon, lime, wild orange, and lavender.
1 tbsp castille soap
1 tsp onGuard cleaner concentrate
1 cup water
1/2 tsp vegetable glycerin (to help it suds up)
10 drops essential oil
Hope you have fun with this natural solution and let me know how you made out!
